? (N) Full time employees who have completed fourteen full years of employment are <br />entitled to four weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during the fifteenth <br />year of employment <br />(0) Full time employees who have completed fifteen full years of employment are <br />entitled to five weeks vacation; said vacation sha11 be taken during the sixteenth <br />year of employment. <br />(P) Full time employees who have completed sixteen fu11 years of employment are <br />entitled to five weeks vacation; said vacation sha11 be taken during the seventeenth <br />year of employment. <br />(Q) Full time employees who have completed seventeen full years of employment are <br />entitled to f ve weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during the eighteenth <br />year of emgloyment. <br />(R) Full time employees who have completed eighteen full years of employment are <br />entitled to five weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during the nineteenth <br />year of employment <br />(S) Full time employees who have completed nineteen full years of employment are <br />entitled to five weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during and after the <br />twentieth year of employment. <br />(T) Full time employees who have completed twenty years through infinity are entitled to <br />six weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during the twenty first year <br />and all subsequent years thereafter. <br />Section 23.03 Any employee who resigns without giving at least ten (10) working days written <br />notice to the Transit Department shall forfeit any unused vacation and holidays, or pay in lieu thereof. <br />Section 23.0 If an employee is terminated (voluntarily or involuntarily, other than for disciplinary <br />reasons) prior to taking his vacation and has completed one (1) year of employment <br />with the City, he shall receive the pro-rated portion of any accrued but unused vacation at the time <br />of separation. In case of death of an employee, the unused vacation shall be paid to the estate. <br />Section 23.05 Employees of the Transit Department hired after August 1, 1997, shall not be <br />. credited for any employment time or service with any other political subdivision, school system, <br />state, etc. other than the City of North Olmsted, for years of service when calculating vacation <br />eligibility as an employee of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 23.06 Any fu11-time employee who is eligible for vacation allowance may at the tirne of <br />vacation pick hold one week of vacation for payment (at a predetermined date at least 14 days prior to <br />the applicable pay period) or for a future available week. In each year the full time employee who <br />held one week must accept payment for that week to be posted by no ]ater than December 1, and paid <br />before the final payroll is issued that year.
