<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 - 105 <br />BY: Mayor Norman T. Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE WYEING OF SANTrARY SEWER MANHOLES ON <br />BLOSSOM BOULEVARD AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS ON MACKENZIE <br />ROAD AS DETAILED IN THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND <br />AUTHORTZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary plans and specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for the wyeing of sanitary sewer manholes on Blossom Boulevard and storm <br />sewer improvements on Mackenzie Road according to plans and specifications now on file in his <br />office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />( i <br />` <br />ATTE T. <br />?/ ?
