CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000 - 67 <br />BY.• MAYOR NORMAN T. MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />POLYTECH, ING TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR <br />THE DESIGN OF ROOF IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CANOPY <br />AND LOBBY OF THE RECREATION CENTER AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the firm of <br />Polytech, Inc. be hired to accomplish the aforesaid services due to their expertise in this <br />field; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby <br />express its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said firm for and on behalf <br />of the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into an agreement with Polytech, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of <br />roof improvements for the canopy and lobby of the Recreation Center. A copy of said <br />agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for <br />the reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with the engineering services for this <br />project, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />
