We will perform the work described in the RFP as follows: <br />All relevant background information such as record plans and utility information will be <br />compiled and reviewed. <br />2. A detailed inspection of the facility will be made to identify the troubled areas through visual <br />inspection. The existing conditions at the site will be documented with photographs. <br />Features tobe examinedinclude steel framing system, gutters, downspouts, flashing, coping. <br />3. Once the existing problems are documented, alternative roofing systems will be presented <br />to the City. These alternatives will have differentneeds for installation andmaintenance, and <br />will provide for different aesthetics inside the building. Methods to avoid ice and snow <br />build-up at problem areas will be examined. <br />4. Construction documents will be prepared based on the alternatives selected by the City. <br />They will generally consist of roof plans and details, and a Project Manual including project <br />specifications. The details will need to include rehabilitation or replacement of structural <br />members affected by corrosion. <br />OFFI?:?
