w_ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2000 - 29 BY: MAYOR MUSIAL AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98-140, WHICH ESTABLISHED A FEE STRUCTURE FOR PARTICIPANTS IN THE CITY'S COMMUNITY DIVERSION PROGRAM, IN ORDER TO REFLECT CHANGES IN THE CITY'S CURRENT AGREEMENT WITH CUYAhiOGA COUNTY JUVENILE COURT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, this Council on December 15, 1998> adopted Ordinance No. 98-140, which (1) established a program fee for each juvenile participating in the Community Diversion Program of the North Olmsted Youth Development Program (YDP); (2) changed the administrative fee for juveniles who violate Program guidelines; and (3) provided that all fees collected will be used for YDP services, including programs and interventions for youths and families involved in Community Diversion; and WHEREAS, this Council has been advised that Chris Allegra, the City's YDP/CDP Coordinator has recommended that Ordinance No. 98-140 be amended to reflect changes which have been made in the agreement between the City of North Olmsted and the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court with respect to the City's Community Diversion Program; and WHEREAS, this Council desires to amend Ordinance No. 98-140 in accordance with the recommendations of the City's YDP/CDP Coordinator; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION ONE: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 98-140, which presently reads: "Section 1: That there is hereby established a program fee of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) to be charged to the parent or other guardian of each juvenile who participates in the Community Diversion Program of the North Olmsted Youth Development Program (YDP).
