FIRST LEASE AMENDMENT <br />THIS FIRST LEASE AMENDMENT is made as of this day of , <br />, between the CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, an Ohio municipal corporation, hereinafter <br />called "Lessor", and NORTIIERN OHIO INTERCONNECT, INC., a corporatioq hereinafter called <br />"Lessee". <br />RECITALS: <br />A. Lessor and Lessee entered into a Lease dated August 31, 1998 (the "Lease"), for <br />certain building space in the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga, and State <br />of Ohio and more specifically described in the Lease. <br />B. Lessor and Lessee desire to amend the Lease as provided herein. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and the mutual covenants and <br />agreements herein, Lessor and Lessee agree as follows: <br />TERM. <br />The term is hereby extended for eight (8) months, commencing on the 1' day of May, <br />2000, and expiring on the 31s` day of December, 2000. <br />2. RENT. <br />Rent shall continue to be paid in the sum of FIFTY THOUSAND FOUR HCTNDRED <br />SIXTY DOLLARS ($50,460.00) per year, in equal monthly installments of four <br />thousand two hundred five dollars ($4,205.00) each, in advance on the first day of <br />each and every calendar month during the term. <br />3. NOTICES. <br />Lessee's notice address as contained in Paragraph 32 of the Lease shall now be: <br />Northern Ohio Interconnect, c/o Cablevision, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY <br />11714, Attn: Real Estate Dept., with a copy to the same address Attn: Legal Dept. <br />4. MISCELLANEOUS. <br />a) The lease, except as amended herein, is in all other respects fully ratified and <br />confirmed. <br />b) Except as defined herein, all capitalized terms used in the First Lease <br />Amendment sha11 have the same meanings ascribed to such terms in the Lease. <br />
