P <br />.. .d?. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99-166 <br />By: MAYOR NORMAN MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE <br />MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE <br />OF SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CONSISTING OF ALL OF ONE PARCEL <br />(PERMANENT PARCEL NO. 234-26-008) AND THE WESTERN <br />MOST 213 FEET OF ANOTHER PARCEL (PERMANENT <br />PARCEL NO. 234-26-011), BOTH OF WHICH PARCELS ARE <br />LOCATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF WINDSOR DRIVE <br />AND McKENZIE ROAD, NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted is the owner of two parcels of real property <br />identified as Permanent Parcel Nos. 234-26-008 and 234-26-01 l and located near the intersection <br />of Windsor Drive and McKenzie Road, in North Olmsted, Ohio; and <br />WHEREAS, Permanent Parcel No. 234-26-008 is an approximately square shape parcel <br />of land, which is land-locked; consists of approximately .91 acres; and is vacant; and <br />WHEREAS, Permanent Parcel No. 234-26-011 is an elongated rectangular-shaped parcel <br />of land, which is 30 feet by 588 feet in dimension, runs along the north right-of-way line of <br />Windsor Drive, and is vacant; and <br />WHEREAS, neither parcel is needed for any city purpose other than retention of an <br />easement on Permanent Parcel No. 234-26-011 for storm sewer purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has obtained an appraisal for Permanent Parcel No. 234-26-008, and <br />has further obtained an offer from Ralph and Pamela Kronz to purchase said parcel and the <br />western-most 213 feet of Permanent Parcel No. 234-26-011, and said offer to purchase said lands <br />meets or exceeds their fair market value; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize and direct the Mayor to enter into <br />an agreement providing for the sale of said lands, but retaining any easements needed by the City; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />
