ORDINANCE NO.: ?BY: COUNCIL r?,MBERS MCKAY AND NASHAR DATE: An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio hereinafter referred to as the MIJNICIPALITY, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga by its Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the COUNTY. WHEREAS, the MLTNICIPALITY has recognized the need for and proposes the improvement of a portion of public highway which is described as follows: The grading, draining, paving, and widening of Stearns Road ( R-76 ) from the North Olmsted South Corporation Line to I-480. WHEREAS, this project is part of a larger project which is: The grading, draining, paving, widening and realignment of the Cook Road (CR-59) /Stearns Road (CR-76) Intersection from approximately 0.2 miles south of Cook Road to I-480 in Olmsted Township and the City of North Olmsted. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio; A. CONSENT That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said MLTNICIPALITY be and such consent is hereby given to the COITNTY to participate in the cost of construction of the above described improvement. B. COOPERATION That the COLJNTY and the MtTNICIPALITY will cooperate in the grading, draining, paving, and widening Steaxns Road (CR-76) from the North Olmsted South Corporation Line to I-480 in the City of North Olmsted. 2. That the COLJNTY will arrange for the preparation of construction plans and specifications, including necessary engineering reports, which shall conform to generally accepted engineering practices and principles. That the COLTNTY will arrange for the supervision and administration of the construction contract.
