14 <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99 -155 <br /> <br />BY.• MAYOR NORMAN T. MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />FILE OF THE CITY OFNORTH OLMSTED BYDECLARING <br />STEARNS ROAD A TRUCK ROUTE FROMINTERSTATE <br />480 SOUTH TO THE SO UTHERL Y NOR TH OLMSTED <br />CORPORATION LINE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest of public <br />safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted to declare Stearns <br />Road a truck route per the requirement of Section 339.02(a) of the North Olmsted <br />Codified Ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of a <br />Traffic Control file which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and it is hereby authorized and directed <br />to amend the Tra.ffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the <br />installation of truck route signs and the removal of truck prohibition signs on Stearns <br />Road from Interstate 480 south to the southerly North Olmsted Corporation Line, as <br />aforesaid. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause <br />said signs to be installed and/or removed in accordance with the provisions of this <br />Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />
