CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-134 <br />BY: Mayor Norman T. Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR SPRINGVALE PARKING <br />LOT IMPROVEMENTS AS DETAILED IN THE PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary plans and specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for Springvale Parking Lot Improvements according to plans and specifications <br />now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: X--r-4- <br />A4?ST: <br />, ?. <br />i <br />m-a-Y- <br />??Barbara L.
