C1TY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-114 <br />BY: MAYOR MUSIAL <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TBE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 35,000 GALLONS OF <br />SODIiJM ALITMIIVATE PER EACH TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD, FOR USE <br />BY TBE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, AND AUTHORIZING TBE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, 'IBEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for a maximum of 35,000 gallons of sodium aluminate per each twelve <br />month period, for use by the Wastewater Treatment Plant, in accordance with <br />specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immecliately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason that it is necessary to provide for the city's sodium aluminate <br />requirements, and further provided it receives the affiumative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />A <br />BARBARA L.
