CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-104 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN MICHAEL R. GAREAU, JR. <br />A RESOL UTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF <br />NOTICE ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING iIPON A PETITION FOR <br />ANNEXATION FROM HENNIE HOMES, ING OF 23.4428 ACRES OF <br />REAL PROPER TY L OCA TED IN OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, AND <br />ADOPTING A STATEMENT OF THE SERVICES WHICH THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLM.STED WILL PROVIDE TO THE TERRITORY UPON <br />ANNEXATION, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Hennie Homes, Inc., the owner of 23.4428 acres of real property located <br />near Cook and Bronson Roads, in Olmsted Township, Ohio, and identified as Permanent Parcel <br />No. 264-7-25, has filed a petition with the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners requesting <br />that said territory be annexed to the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C. Section 709.031, and prior to hearing in such annexation <br />proceedings, the City is required to adopt a Resolution containing a statement indicating what <br />services, if any, will be provided to the territory proposed for annexation upon annexation; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council supports the annexation petition and wishes to comply with said <br />requirement of RC. Section 709.031; and <br />WHEREAS, the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners is scheduled to hear said <br />Petition for Annexation on August 31, 1999; <br />NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOI. VED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED: <br />SECTION 1: That the City of North Olmsted hereby resolves that it shall provide to the <br />territory described as 23.4428 acres of real property located near Cook and Bronson Roads, in <br />Olmsted Township, Ohio, and proposed for annexation to the City by Hennie Homes, Inc., the <br />same city services, on the same terms and conditions, which are presently being provided on a <br />city-wide basis to all other properties located within the City, including, but not limited to the <br />following services: all police and fire services, all water and sewer utilities, garbage and trash <br />collection, street maintenance and repair, and the use of all city parks and recreational facilities. <br />SECTION 2: That this Council urges the Board of Commissioners of the County of <br />Cuyahoga, Ohio, to undertake a careful and deliberate study of all of the matters present in the <br />Petition for Annexation, and to expeditiously hear all the parties concerned and, thereafter, <br />approve the annexation as petitioned. <br />,,..N.
