? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-84 <br />BY: Mayor Norm Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT AND SEEK <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION FOR FUNDING OF VARIOUS MUNICIPAL PEDESTRIAN <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, The Department of Transportation has developed a program to <br />accept and approve applications for state financing of pedestrian improvement projects <br />of political subdivisions in the State of Ohio, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has conducted a needs assessment and has <br />determined that it is necessary to submit applications for financial assistance for <br />pedestrian improvement projects. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: The Mayor is hereby authorized to submit and apply to the Ohio <br />Department of Transportation for financial assistance for the following municipal <br />pedestrian improvement projects: <br />1. Brookpark Road from Lorain Road to approximately 600 feet east of Great <br />Northern Boulevard; <br />2. Bradley Road; <br />3. North Barton Road (west side); <br />4. North Pofter Road from Mill Road to Corporation Line (east side); <br />5. Butternut Ridge Road; <br />6. North Park Drive; <br />7. South Canterbury Road; <br />8. Lansing Drive; <br />9. Martin Drive; <br />10. Root Road; <br />11. Kennedy R:dge Road; <br />12. Louis Drive; <br />13. Mastick Road; <br />14. Bailey Road; <br />15. Lorain Road from Charles Road to Corporation line (south side); <br />
