u,? n <br />EXPERIENCE: <br />Mr. Sivakumar contributes to the design of highway and roadway improvements related to <br />maintenance of traffic, traffic control and traffic signal design. He is responsible for taking traffic <br />counts and preparing the data for project use, for the preparation of traffic signal wanants, and the <br />preparaxion of traffic signal plans and details. He performs calculations for capacity analysis, traffic <br />signal timings, and time=space diagrams for interconnected signal systems. Mr. Siva.kumar has <br />attended trainnig courses for the use of traffic signal design soflware such as TEAPAC, PAS5ER, <br />TRANSYT and NETSIM/CORSIM. He has also been trained for Traffic 5ignal Maintenance. <br />Traffic Signal Design is performed following the I-I'ighway Capacity Manual, and using the following <br />soflware: HIGHWAY CAPACITY SOFTWARE (HC5), TRANSYT-7F, NOSTOP, SIGNAL97. <br />Traffic counts have been taken using laptop computers and/or manual chazts. <br />He prepares construction drawings meeting the format and requirements of the Ohio Department of <br />Transportation. Design criteria is in conformance with the American Association of State H'ighway <br />and Transportation officials (AASHTO) Specifications for H'ighway Bridges, AASHTO's Policy for <br />the Geometric Design of Streets and H'ighways and the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices <br />(MUTCD). <br />I-i'is project experience includes: <br />Rehabilitation of West 150' Street from Puritas Avenue to Lorain Avenue in the City <br />of Cleveland; Rehabilita.tion of Warner Road from Granger Road to Cana1 Road in the <br />Village of Va11ey View; Rehabilitaxion of Smith Road from Snow Road to Brookpark <br />Road in the City of Brook Park; Rehabilita.tion of Noble Road from Mayfield Road <br />to Euclid Avenue in the Cities of Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland; <br />Rehabilita.tian of Green Road from Chagrin Boulevard to Fairmount Boulevard in the <br />Cities of Beachwood and Shaker Heights. Client: Cuvahoga Countv En &eer. <br />Designed new traffic signals and signs; prepazed 3R Safety 5tudies; prepared signal <br />wairants, trafFic control plans and maintenance of traffic plans. Details prepared for <br />the new traffic sxgnals included mast arm details, wiring details and initial timing <br />cha.rts. <br />
