CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-68 <br />By: Councilman Dean McKay <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ACQUISITION OF A DEWATERING CENTRIFUGE <br />FOR PILOT TESTING AT THE NORTH OLMSTED WASTEWATER TREATMENT <br />PLANT IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AS DETAILED IN THE <br />SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to conduct said pilot test. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for acquisition of a dewatering centrifuge for pilot testing at the North Olmsted <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant in the City of North Olmsted according to specifications now on file <br />in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to <br />enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of 0 members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: 7k ?Zl' <br />ATTEST: <br />CVSJL <br />Barbara L.
