• Ordina,nce No. 9949 <br />Page 2 <br />E. Operations Support Min. Wage 9.88 per. hr. 15.00 pr. hr. 15.45 pr, hr. <br />Personnel(including <br />part-time personnel) <br />F. The salaries specified in A- E of this Section shall be established by the Director of Public Safety and the Mayor. <br />SECTION 2: That all pay ranges and amounts established will be effective no earlier than January 1 st of the respective <br />year. Salaries specified in this Ordinance shail be paid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 3: That all full-time administradve personnel listed in this ordinance, with the exception of Directors, having <br />completed five (5) years of full-time service as an employee of the city shall be paid an additional four percent (40/6) of their base <br />annual salary; thereafter until completion of their tenth ( lOth) year of full-time service after which such employee shall receive five <br />percent (51/o) of their base salary; thereafter until completion of their fifteenth year of full-time service, such employee sha11 receive <br />six percent (61/6) of their base annuai salary; until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full-time service, and during <br />each year of full-time service thereafter, they shall receive seven percent (7%) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 4: That all full-time administraUve personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays <br />off, unless required to work by their supervisor or Mayor, and shall receive the'vr regular rate of pay: New Year's Day, Presidents' <br />Day; one-half (1/2) day on Good Friday; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; one-half (1/2) day on <br />Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; one-hatf (1/2) on New Year's Eve Day; the employee's Birthday; and a floating holiday. In the event <br />an individual works during any of the aforementioned holidays, such employee shall receive comparable holiday dme off at a later <br />date. <br />SECTION S: T'hat all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance <br />with the Vacation Ordinance. All previous service as an elected City Public Official within the ciry shall be considered full-time for <br />the purpose of calculating vaca6on and sick leave upon Retirement. <br />SECTION 6: That all full-time administrative Non-Bargaining Unit Personnel shall receive two (2) eight (8) hour days <br />off with pay, or may elect to be paid for two (2) eight (8) hour days, for each six (6) continuous month period of unused sick leave. <br />No month shall be counted in more than one period. <br />SECTION 7: That all Ordinances or Resolutions or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby <br />repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTIDN 8: 'I'hat this Ordinance is hereby declazed to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the <br />preservation of the Public Health, Safety and Welfare and for the future reason it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and <br />bring them into line due to infladon and cost of living increases, and further, provided it received the affirmative note of two-thirds of <br />a11 members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATT?T.• u <br />BARBAR4 L.
