CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-41. <br />BY: Councilman Dean McKav <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR PHASE 3(1999) IMPROVEMENTS IN THE STORM <br />DRAINAGE SYSTEM IN THE LANSING DRIVE AND FOREST RIDGE SUBDIVISION <br />AREA AS DETAILED IN THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessaty plans and specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for Phase 3(1999) improvements in the storm drainage system in the Lansing <br />Drive and Forest Ridge Subdivision according to plans and specifications now on file in his office <br />and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />l? <br />PassED: <br />? <br />#7EST: Barbara L.
