<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-27 <br />BY: Councilman Dean McKav <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS IN <br />WOODVIEW DRIVE AS DETAILED IN THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into <br />an Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for improvements in Woodview Drive from Sha.ron Drive south and east <br />approximately 900 feet according to plans and specifications now on file in his office and that, <br />upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and 7be f orce immediately upon the passage and approved by the Mayor. <br />PASSED ?? <br />ATTEST: <br />;Barbara L.
