Langevity shall be computed on the <br />base salany and be: 4°ro after 5 vears of continuoits <br />senrice, 5% after 10 years of cantinuous service. 6% <br />after 15 years of continuous scmice, 7% after 20 <br />vears of continuous service. <br />Normal VVork Schedule: One (1) twenty-four (24) consecutive hour shift <br />followed by forty-eight (48) hours off duty, However, <br />for reasons of shift transfer, training, Light Duty or <br />emergency ctisaster, the Fire Clucf may change an <br />Employee's work shifts to mect thc Employcr's <br />needs that are affected by a siiift triusfer, traiiung <br />Light Duty ar emergency disaster. <br />AOW <br />%MW <br />Overiime: Ant time worked in excess of eighl hours a day or in <br />excess of forty (40) ho«rs per week by Fire <br />Preyention Personnel. In case of Fire Suppression <br />Personnel, any time worked in escess of twenty-four <br />hours in a seventy-two hour period. <br />Ovcrtime Rate of Pav: The rate of pay equal to one and one-half (1-1/2) time <br />die Basic Hourly Rate of Pay includiiig Longevity <br />compensation if applicable.
