??.. <br />Ordinance 2003-141 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />SECTION 3: Overtime <br /> <br />That the salaried employees may be paid overtime upon the recommendation of the <br />Service Director. <br />SECTION 4: Longevity Benefits <br />That there is an established longevity benefit for all full-time salaried employees which <br />shall be as follows: <br />All full-time salaried employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line having <br />completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service as employees of said bus line or <br />having been transferred from some other department by administrative appointment shall <br />be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base annual salary until they have <br />completed their tenth (lOth) year of continuous full-time service. After completing the <br />tenth (lOth) year and prior to completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous full- <br />time service, they shall be paid five percent (5%) of the base annual salary. After <br />completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous service and prior to completion of <br />their twentieth (20th) year of continuous service, they shall be paid six percent (6%) of <br />the base annual salary. After completion of the twentieth (20th) year of continuous <br />service, they shall be paid seven percent (7%) of the base annual salary. These payments <br />shall be longevity increments and shall be paid and computed by the Finance Department <br />of the City of North Olmsted. <br />In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity <br />increments as hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be give for part-time service, but such <br />limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion <br />for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be <br />due them for part-time service employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />SECTION 5: Uniform Allowance <br />A. Zone Supervisor - Annual allowance $550.00 as of January, 2004. <br />B. Maintenance Manager and Assistant Maintenance Manager - Maximum change of <br />five (5) sets of laundered work clothing each week and $150.00 as of January, 2004, <br />for purchasing safety work shoes <br />SECTION 6: Paid Holidays <br />1. New Years Day 7. Employment Anniversary Date <br />2. Memorial Day (Observed) 8. Employee's Birthday <br />3. Independence Day 9. Presidents Day Holiday <br />4. Labor Day 10. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday <br />5. Thanksgiving Day 11. Floating Holiday <br />6. Christmas Day 12. Floating Holiday <br />(Holidays 7,8,9,10,11 and 12 may be paid for or taken) <br />SECTION 7: Vacation Entitlement <br />a. Full-time employees who have completed one full year of employment are entitled to <br />two weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the second year of <br />employment. <br />b. Full-time employees who have completed two full years of employment aze entitled <br />to two weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the third year of <br />employment. <br />
