Full-time employees who have completed fifteen full years of employment are <br />entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the sixteenth <br />year of employment. <br />p. Full-time employees who have completed sixteen full years of employment are <br />entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the <br />seventeenth year of employment. <br />q. Full-time employees who have completed seventeen full years of employment are <br />entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the eighteenth <br />year of employment. <br />r. Full-time employees who have completed eighteen full yeazs of employment are <br />entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the nineteenth <br />year of employment. <br />s. Full-time employees who have completed nineteen full years of employment are <br />entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the twentieth <br />year of employment. <br />t. Full-time employees who have completed twenty full years of employment through <br />infinity are entitled to six weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the <br />twenty-first year of employment and all subsequent years after. <br />u. Any employee may be paid for vacation time in lieu of time off provided, however, <br />that approval therefor is obtained from the employee's immediate supervisor and, in <br />any event, all employees must take a minimum of five uninterrupted days off each <br />year. <br />v. If a day as a Paid Holiday falls within an employee's vacation week, the employee <br />shall have the option to be paid an extra eight (8) hows, at a straight time rate or take <br />the holiday off at another time. <br />SECTION 8: Life Insurance <br />a. After one (1) month of full-time employment, salaried employees shall be covered by <br />a twenty thousand dollar ($20,000) goup term life and AD&D policy at employer's <br />expense. <br />b. To the extent permitted by the insurance provider's rules, employees may purchase <br />additional life insurance, which shall be deducted from paychecks once a month. <br />c. To the extent pernutted by the insurance provider's rules, employees may convert to <br />individual policy upon termination of employment or retirement. <br />SECTION 9: Health Insurance <br />The employer shall provide either individual or family medical insurance coverage at the <br />employees option for each full-time salaried employees. Effective January 1, 2001; health care <br />benefits for salaried employees shall be governed by the City of North Olmsted Ordinance No. <br />95-88 and any revisions to this ordinance. <br />
