Full-time employees who have completed fifteen full years of employment are entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the sixteenth year of employment. p. Full-time employees who have completed sixteen full years of employment are entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the seventeenth year of employment. q. Full-time employees who have completed seventeen full years of employment are entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the eighteenth year of employment. r. Full-time employees who have completed eighteen full yeazs of employment are entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the nineteenth year of employment. s. Full-time employees who have completed nineteen full years of employment are entitled to five weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the twentieth year of employment. t. Full-time employees who have completed twenty full years of employment through infinity are entitled to six weeks vacation; and said vacation shall be taken during the twenty-first year of employment and all subsequent years after. u. Any employee may be paid for vacation time in lieu of time off provided, however, that approval therefor is obtained from the employee's immediate supervisor and, in any event, all employees must take a minimum of five uninterrupted days off each year. v. If a day as a Paid Holiday falls within an employee's vacation week, the employee shall have the option to be paid an extra eight (8) hows, at a straight time rate or take the holiday off at another time. SECTION 8: Life Insurance a. After one (1) month of full-time employment, salaried employees shall be covered by a twenty thousand dollar ($20,000) goup term life and AD&D policy at employer's expense. b. To the extent permitted by the insurance provider's rules, employees may purchase additional life insurance, which shall be deducted from paychecks once a month. c. To the extent pernutted by the insurance provider's rules, employees may convert to individual policy upon termination of employment or retirement. SECTION 9: Health Insurance The employer shall provide either individual or family medical insurance coverage at the employees option for each full-time salaried employees. Effective January 1, 2001; health care benefits for salaried employees shall be governed by the City of North Olmsted Ordinance No. 95-88 and any revisions to this ordinance.
