Please review these suggestians azld advise me af your intentions toivards the <br />tu7-theraiice of tIlis project. <br />As we have discussed previously, the overall projeci to eriliailce the Safety/Security of the Recreational <br />Ceilter was to be accomplished in a, Ioosely defined, tluee staae process. <br />I'irst, an initial awareness training program would be presented to the total employee population.. <br />Second, the development aizd znlplementation of a pllysical security plan for the facility would be <br />uzlderta.ken. Third and finally, the overall businass procedures and processes, to znclude tecluiology <br />hardware, and marketing and finazlcial camputer hasea teclinology, would be evaluated with changes in <br />process and equipment as detei-nii7ed to be appropi-iate. <br />To date the Initial Training of the employee -raup has beell cornpleteci. <br />To continue with the initial plan it is nOw necessazy to evaluate the existziig procedures and equipinent <br />for the Center and develop aizd design an appropriate plan far the physical security of tlie facility. <br />This vvould include, but not be limited to, physical protection of the coinplex, electronic equzpment, <br />and facility ehanges that may be necessary. Additionally, limited review and changes as necessaiy <br />would be suggested for the operational process of the center, such as security guards/police officers aild <br />pzocedures for the maintenance of high volume events. <br />This would be accomplished by a review of all current information on these areas and procedures by a <br />committee consisting af the Recreation Commissioner, a representative from the Comi.liunity Policing <br />Program of the North Olmsted Police Department, and rnyself. <br />1524 Ventana Coraopolis, Pa. 15108 <br />800410-3646 <br />
