<br />?r. <br />?.. , <br />EXHIBIT A <br />LETTER OF AGREEMENT <br />This Letter of Agreement is made this day of <br />, 2003, between Ohio Council 8, American Federation of <br />State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO and Local 2681, American <br />Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO (hereinafter jointly <br />referred to as "Union") and the City of North Olmsted (hereinafter, "City"). The Union <br />and the City hereby acknowledge the following: <br />1. The Union is certified by the State Employment Relations Board as the <br />exclusive representative of employees of the City in the bargaining unit described in Case <br />No. 85-VR-12-4747, a copy of said Certification being attached hereto; and <br />2. The parties are signatories to a Collective Bargaining Agreement which, at <br />Article 2, Section 1, and Appendix B, sets forth the current classifications represented by <br />the Union in the bargaining unit; and <br />3. The parties hereby agree that the position of Animal Warden established in <br />Section 141.01 of the City Administrative Code will be included in the bargaining unit; <br />and <br />4. The parties further agree that, should the State Employment Relations Board <br />require the filing of a petition for amendment of certification to reflect the bargaining unit <br />change referenced herein, the parties will file with the State Employment Relations Board <br />a joint petition for amendment of certification reflecting said changes. <br />I <br />
