'J?? i,'( a` • <br />May be required to appcar in Munucipal Court or otlier duly recognized courts of law. <br />Wili respond to all complaints regazding domettic acuiznais. <br />Must have the ability to understand and follow oral and wriittcn iitastruciions <br />Will perfoxxn other related work gs irequired and/or assigned. <br />WiU in cases of douacshc aninaat biting hwnans, he/she shall attempt to capture the <br />biting animal, locate its owner, advise the ownec of the situation and the procedure to <br />be followed relative to quarantine. Advise tlle person bitten that the animal has beem <br />captured, provide the vactim, with the name and address of the animal ovvner. HeJshe <br />will advise the propec governrr,enrt suttxority of the animal bite. <br />Upon receiving notice by his supervisox, a resident or the Police DeparGnent that a <br />domestic animal is injured, the Dog/Animal Warden wdl x+espond to the location of the <br />isijured domestic animal and transporl said injured animat to the nearest veteriaerian <br />clinic for treatnient. <br />Dob/Animal Warden will pic,k up a11 domeslic and/or wild animals discovered dead on <br />all public streets and right-of-ways and dispose of the same. <br />In cases whereby a dead domostic or wild animal is of such size and/or wtight (deer azxd <br />large dogs), and the Dog/A,nwonal Warden is unable to pick up or move the dead animal, <br />he/shc shall imnacdiately notify bis sup;rvisor of the sicuation. Titc supervisor wiU tllcn <br />make anaignmenes for assistanee or make other acraignments to have the animal pieked <br />up atad for its propec disposal. <br />In all cases of death or injwry to a domestic animal, the Dog/Aninial Warden will <br />attempt to contact the owner of said anjwred or dead aunimal and advise therra of the <br />situatian. Should the domcstic animal remaiu unclaimed followiing treatment by the <br />veterinarian clinic, the Dog/A,niumal Warden s}?all icnpouud said anim?a1 iw the City <br />keruiel for the appropciate tirne period. $hould. the aniinal rernain unclainied following <br />tlie impoundment period, he/she shalt dispose of the animal in accordance witJi law. <br />Will in ciseunnstances where a domestic auiiunial is creacing a eondition upon any privale <br />property, public street ar tight-of way whece the healltn md welfaire of residencs or other <br />persons are jeopardized iu the opinion of the Uog/Anima!
