<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 - 77 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHOItIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTI-I OLMSTED T'O ENTER INTO A NEW MAINTENANCE <br />AGREEMENT WITH CLIMATE-TECH, INC, PROVIDING FOR <br />HYAC MAINTENANCE AT FIRE STATION NUMBER ONE FOR A <br />ONE-YEAR PERIOD, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Fire Chief that the City continue to use <br />Climate-Tech, Inc., as the provider of HVAC maintenance services at Fire Station Number One; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City enter into a one-year agreement with <br />Climate-Tech, Inc, in the amourrt of $2,608.20.; and <br />WHEREAS, it is not necessary to competitively bid for the award of this city contract for <br />HVAC maintenance services because the expenditure pursuant to the proposed contract will not <br />exceed $15,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into a one-year service agreement with Climate-Tech, Inc; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into an agreement <br />with Climate-Tech, Inc., to provide HVAC maintenance services at Fire Station Number One for <br />a one-year non-renewable period, which shall be in a form and substance substantially the same <br />as the attached "Commercial Preventive Maintenance Agreement," marked as Exhibit A, with <br />the elimination of the automatic renewal clause in said agreement. <br />SECTION 2: That the City is not authorized to expend, pursuant to said Agreement, an <br />amount that exceeds $15,000.00. <br />
