= . ?a <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2003 - 45 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />A1V ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WITHIN THE SPECIAL <br />REVENUE FUND GROUP A"FIRE DEPARTMENT FEMA <br />PROGRAM FUND" OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation and advice of the Director of Finance, this <br />Council desires to establish a special revenue fund for the purpose of accounting for <br />federal funds and other miscellaneous funds received by the Fire Department from the <br />Federal Emergency Management Agency ("FEMA") Program; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council further desires to expressly ratify all actions taken by <br />the Director of Finance since 7anuary l, 2003, in segegating and separately accounting <br />for FEMA funds received to date this year; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI1'Y OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OffiO: <br />SECTION 1: That there is hereby created a Fire Department FEMA Program <br />Fund within the Special Revenue Fund group for the purpose of accounting for federal <br />and other miscellaneous funds received for the Fire Department FEMA Program. <br />SECTION 2: T'hat the Director of Finance be and is hereby directed to establish <br />a Fire Department FEMA Program Fund and to record receipts and expenditures <br />consistent with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Council hereby expressly ratifies and retroactively <br />approves all actions taken by the Director of Finance since January l, 2003, to segregate <br />FEMA funds for the purpose of separately accounting for and expending such funds. <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of Council sha11 immediately forward an attested <br />copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County and the Auditor of the State of <br />Ohio. <br />
