CTTY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2003 - 31 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE NORTH OLMSTED FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL <br />1267, LA. F. F., WHICH AGREEMENT IS THE COLLECTIVE <br />BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITYAND THE NORTH <br />OLMSTED FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the legislature of the State of Ohio has heretofore adopted legislation <br />calling for Collective Bargaining Agreements with public employees; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Department through the North Olmsted Fire Fighters Local <br />1267, I.A.F.F., has been recognized as the exclusive bargaining agent for the Fire <br />Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the Administration has bargained with the members of the Fire <br />Department and concluded that bargaining with an agreement which is satisfactory to the <br />Administration; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into <br />the Collective Bargaining Agreement which has been negotiated by the Administration. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into the Collective Bargaining Agreement which was negotiated with the North <br />Olmsted Fire Fighters Loca1 1267 I.A.F.F., a copy of which Agreement is attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof and marked, "Exhibit A." <br />SECTION 2: That the effective date of any and all wage and fringe benefits <br />specified in said Agreement shall be January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2003. <br />.... }tb^^4?i.>v.-,.., °n...?.:?evrh?.... .. . .. . .... . . ., ?d"diT°.m'3?':'aY'?-....i..?.?+mn.,e,. .., ....
