C. Notify the State Employment Relations Board of the offer by serving upon the board a copy <br />of the written notice to the other party and a copy of the existing collective bargaining <br />agreement. <br />D. Upon receipt of the notice, the parties shall enter into collective bargaining. <br />E. In the event the parties are unable to reach an agreement, the impasse procedwe as set forth <br />in Secrion 4117.140.RC. shall prevail. <br />31.4 The parties shall continue in fWl foroe and effect all the terms and conditions of the existing <br />collective bazgaining agreement for a period of sixty days after the party gives notice or until the <br />expiration date of the collective bazgaining agreement, whichever is later. <br />ARTICLE XXXII <br />BEREAVEMENT LEAVE <br />32.1 In the event of death of Immediate Family other than the Employee's spouse or cluldren, the <br />Employee shall receive two (2) consecurive twenty-four (24) hour shifts off. <br />32.2 In the event of death of an Employee's spouse, children or stepchildren, the Employer shall <br />provide a total of ninety-six (96) hours of compassionate leave. <br />32.3 For the purpose of this Article, Immediate Family is defined to mean: <br />Pazents of the Employee; <br />Pazents of the Employee's spouse; <br />Brothers and Sisters of the Employee; <br />Step Parents of the Employee; <br />Spouse and Children of the Employee; Relarives living with the Employee if the Employee is acting as a parent and/or legal guardian; and <br />Grandchildren of the Employee; <br />32.4 In addirioq employees may receive bereavement leave for the death of a grandparent of the <br />employee or the employee's spouse, brother-in-law, or sister-in-law for a total of one (1) twenty- <br />four (24) hour tour of duty. <br />41 <br />
