<br />Ordinance No. 2003-20 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CIIYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council hereby authorizes and directs that a11 insurance loss <br />proceeds received in the year 2003 for casualty losses suffered by the City, up to a maximum <br />amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), which would otherwise be credited to the <br />"Casualty Loss Fund," created pursuant to Ordinance No. 82-32 be credited instead to the <br />General Fund. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to credit a11 <br />insurance proceeds received in the year 2003 for casualty losses suffered by the City, up to a <br />maximum amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), which would otherwise be credited to <br />the "Casualty Loss Fund," to the General Fund. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public pea.ce, health, safety a.nd welfare, of this <br />City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective so that <br />the City may timely adopt a lawful permanent appropriations ordinance for the year 2003; and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />t , <br />PASSED: -- <br />--?- <br />First Reading: _ ??? 03 _ <br />Second Reading: _ e 0 3- <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: ?,oleu_-d.e_- <br />ATTEST.• <br />BARBARA L.
