x<. ? <br />Ordinance No. 2003-19 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council hereby authorizes and directs that a11 fines and costs <br />received in the year 2003 by the City from Rocky River Municipal Court as a result of the <br />disposition of traffic citations issued by police officers while on STOP duty, up to a maximum <br />amount of fifty thousand dollars ($SO,OOO.OQ), which would otherwise be credited to the "STOP <br />Program Fund," created pursua.nt to Ordinance No. 99-107 be credited instead to the General <br />Fund. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to credit all <br />fines and costs received in the year 2003 by the City from Rocky River Municipal Court as a <br />result of the disposition of traffic cita.tions issued by police officers while on STOP duty, up to a <br />maximum amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), which would otherwise be credited to <br />the "STOP Program Fund," to the General Fund. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of this <br />City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective so that <br />the City may timely adopt a lawful permanent appropriations ordinance for the year 2003; and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall <br />take effect a be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: (?? o() 3 First Reading: <br />Second Reading: D 3 <br />Third Reading: 3 _ <br />Committee: <br />A ST.• ? j <br />BARBARA L.
