Ordinance No. 2003-19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That this Council hereby authorizes and directs that a11 fines and costs received in the year 2003 by the City from Rocky River Municipal Court as a result of the disposition of traffic citations issued by police officers while on STOP duty, up to a maximum amount of fifty thousand dollars ($SO,OOO.OQ), which would otherwise be credited to the "STOP Program Fund," created pursua.nt to Ordinance No. 99-107 be credited instead to the General Fund. SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to credit all fines and costs received in the year 2003 by the City from Rocky River Municipal Court as a result of the disposition of traffic cita.tions issued by police officers while on STOP duty, up to a maximum amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), which would otherwise be credited to the "STOP Program Fund," to the General Fund. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of this City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective so that the City may timely adopt a lawful permanent appropriations ordinance for the year 2003; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect a be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
