Upon passage of this <br />Resolution, it will be retroactively effective to January 1, 2003. All purchases of <br />road salt made by the Director of Public Service from January 1, 2003, until the <br />effective date of this Resolution, on an emergency basis from sources other than <br />Cargill De-Icing Technologies, are hereby ratified, and the Director of Finance is <br />6ereby authorized to pay all invoices presented to her for such emergency <br />purchases, provided that they are properly presented, and further provided that <br />funds are appropriated and available for such expenditure. <br />SECTION Z: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />for the further reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately <br />because of the severe winter weather North Olmsted is presently experiencing, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. ---? <br />PASSED: ?.?-?- '?-{-t--t-?-?-?- l?'? ? o0 3 First Reading: <br />r Second Reading: _?L d 3.. <br />Third Reading.?_ _.? <br />Committee: `\-j- 1-- <br />A <br />h-4- <br />ARA L.
