<br />Resolution No. 2002-5 <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement with Costin + Company to provide the aforementioned professional services to <br />the City; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1_ That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into an agreement <br />with Costin + Company, to provide GAAP conversion assistance professional services for the <br />2002 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), which shall be in the form and substance <br />of the attached November 18, 2002, Letter Agreement from Costin + Company to Mrs. Carrie B. <br />Copfer, CPA, Director of Finance, marked as Exhibit A. <br />SECTION 2: That the City is not authorized to expend, pursuant to said Agreement, an <br />amount that exceeds $15,000.00. <br />SECTION 3_ That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this Resolution immediately ga into effect so that a1l end of <br />the year accounting functions may be completed at the earliest possible date, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members of this Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ,2 11 a o c 3 <br />? ??--__ <br />AT7EST.• <br />"Barbara L.
