The election shallbe field annually no later than December lst for the terrn cominencing on the next succeeding January lsi. - At least three weeks before the election for Trustees, the Executive Director of the Cuyahoga CountyMa.yors and City Managers Association shall poll the representatives of each of the - meiriliers of each group as to whe'tlier the`representati ve wishes to be placed on the ballot as a candidate from the group for the Board of Trustees: The responses must be received by the Executive Director no later than two weeks before the election. The Executive Director will then submit a ballot to each of the members accordi.ng to their group with the names of each member's representative within.their group who responded timely to the Executive Director that the representative wanted to be placed on the ballot. The member's representative shall vote for one candidate, sign the ballot and return the signed ballot t:o the Executive Director prior to the date of the election date established by the Executive Director. The representative receiving the highest number of votes in each group shall be appointed to a term of three yeazs. . The representative person receiving the second highest number of votes in each group shall be appointed for a term of two years. Thereafter, as the ternis of the Trustees expire, one member from each group shall be elected to a new term pursuant to the process set forth above. C. The Board of Trustees shall elect annually from among its members a Cha.irman, a Vice-Chairman and a Secretary-Treasurer, and such other officers as the Board may detemline. IV. OFFICE. Ttie office of the Suburban Water Regional Council of Governments shall be the office of the Executive Secretary of the Cuyahoga County Mayors and City Managers Association, unless otherwise determined by the Board of Trustees. V. DLTES. It is not anticipated at this time that dues will be assessed against the members. However, if it is deterxriined that dues aze necessary,for the accomplishment of the purposes af the Suburban Water Regional Council- of Governments, dues shall be assessed against all members in an amount to be determined by the Governing Board and approved by the legislative bodies of each member. Members of the Suburban Water Regional Council of Governments shall be required to pay the dues assessed on an annual basis: 276625-3 -2- ?3.N
