JOB CLASSIFICATION RESPONSIBLE TO SENIOR BUILDING MAINTENANCE DIVISION FOREMAN CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES OF THE CLASSIFICATION: Employees within this job classification must be familiar with basic buiiding nomenclature, including but not limited to, structural, electrical, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems, due to work experience and/or educational training. Duties also include cleaning of floors, windows, normal housekeeping activities and yard work. • Employees within the job classification of Senior Building Maintenance must have the abifity to select and skillfully use the proper tools with accuracy and precision under the direction and general supervision of the Division Foreman. Employees within this job classification shall be responsible for the general supervision for the work assigned to employees within the classification of Building Maintenance; and the review of the work for adequacy of results, including but not limited to physical appearance, cleanliness of buildings and the mechanical operations of the buildings. ? • Employees within the job classification of Senior Building Maintenance will be given detailed assistance by the Division Foreman on complex work assignments as required. • Employees within the job classification of Senior Building Maintenance shall perform routine work with self initiative, and independent of close supervision. • Work performed by employees within the job classification of Senior Building Maintenance will be reviewed for proper performance and adequacy of results. • Employees within the job classification Senior Building Maintenance, shall perfarm other duties as assigned, within the general character and scope of the job duties described above. • Employees sha11 be required to maintain a valid commercial drivers license at all times. ?
