EXHIBIT B - 7 CONTINUED <br />MAINTENANCE <br />MECHANiC <br />Employees within the job classification Maintenance Mechanic, requires <br />performing skilled machine work, welding, steamfitting, plumbing and boiler <br />repair, repair chemical feeders, chlorine machines and heating, circulating and <br />other pumps, repair water and steam drain lines, assisting the installation of new <br />and repairing of old steam, air, water and chemical lines. <br />• Employees shall be required to maintain a valid commercial drivers license at all <br />times. <br />Employees within the job classification Maintenance Mechanic may be assigned <br />to operate pump stations and treatment plants on an assigned shift for <br />emergency situations. This job classification may require the operation of light <br />automotive equipment such as a passenger vehicle and/or trucks less than <br />26,000 GVW with and without snow plow blade. A Mechanic may be required to <br />operate tractors, backhoe and front-end loaders. <br />• Employees within the job classification Maintenance Mechanic does limited work <br />with latches, drill presses and other precision machining devises. This job <br />classification also requires incidental carpentry, painting, masonry and cement <br />work. <br />Employees within the job classification Maintenance Mechanic are subject to <br />• twenty four (24) hour call during emergency situations. <br />• Employees within the job classification Maintenance Mechanic, shall have <br />knowledge of the standard practices, methods, tools and materials of the <br />mechanical trades. <br />• Employees within the job classification Maintenance Mechanic, shall have <br />knowledge of inechanical principals and of equipment and machinery used in <br />pumping and treatment of wastewater. <br />• Employees within the job classification Maintenance Mechanic, shall have <br />knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work. <br />• Employees within the job classification Maintenance Mechanic, shall have the <br />knowledge of the general methods and related electrical, carpentry and plumbing <br />repairs and shall be skilled at making general maintenance repairs. <br />• Employees within the job classification Maintenance Mechanic, shall have the <br />ability to perform mechanical tasks of a routine nature with considerable <br />:.?independence. <br />??.?.. <br />61 <br />..>::?;? ,m?+an..:? -? ??tio-:?+.??,?:a-. . .. .k? _.._ , Mnx,??: . . •+ae,?!?at?K,v?s?r :-r?..-, . . . . .. . ?#*
