?,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-137 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN LIND <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 'IIHE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,000 TONS OF STONE FOR VARIOUS <br />SIIZVICE DEPARTMENT NEIDS, AND AUTfiORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN IIMIItGINCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH.E COUNCIL OF 'IIHE CITY OF NORTFi <br />OLMSTED, COUNi'Y OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of stone for various <br />Service Department needs, according to the specifications now on file in <br />his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to provide for the city's stone requirements, and <br />further provided it received the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force imanediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />i <br />? <br />PASSED : ! <br />7TT: <br />? )GLL, d- <br />BARBARA L.
