? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 95-130 <br />BY: The Mayor and entire Council <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 161. 01(t) OF THE <br />ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, ENTITZED "PAYMENT OFACCUMULATED SICK <br />LEAVE CREDIT " AS AMOM. <br />WHEREAS, the present section 161.01(fl of the Administrative Code contains provisions <br />for the payment of unused accumulated sick lea.ve, which provisions establish a schedule of <br />maximum payable sick leave hours in 1993, 1994 and 1995; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council wishes to clarify 161.01(f) so as to extend the effectiveness of <br />the present schedule of maximum payable sick leave hours to a period of time beyond the calendar <br />year 1995. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio that: <br />SECTION 1: That section 161.01(f) of the Administrative Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, which presently reads as follows: <br />( fl p,ayment of Accumulated Sick Leave Credit. An employee shall be paid for unused, <br />accumulated sick leave at the time of disability, retirement or death. Payment shall be based upon <br />the basic hourly rate of pay at the time of disability, retirement or death plus Iongevity and the <br />amount shall be one half of the unused sick leave with a maximum payment of 700 hours in 1993 <br />and 800 hours in 1994 and 900 hours in 1995. In the case of death, such sick leave credit <br />payment shall be made to the spouse or the estate of the employee. <br />Be and the same is hereby amended, and amended shall read as follows: <br />( fl P-avment of AccumLlater_1 Sick L.e?ve Gre-dit. An employee sha11 be paid for unused, <br />accumulated sick leave at the time of disability, retirement or death. Payment shall be based upon <br />the basic hourly rate of pay at the time of disability, retirement or death plus longevity and the <br />amount shall be one half of tiie unused sick leave with a maximum payment of 740 hours <br />
