CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 95-130 BY: The Mayor and entire Council AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 161. 01(t) OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, ENTITZED "PAYMENT OFACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE CREDIT " AS AMOM. WHEREAS, the present section 161.01(fl of the Administrative Code contains provisions for the payment of unused accumulated sick lea.ve, which provisions establish a schedule of maximum payable sick leave hours in 1993, 1994 and 1995; and WHEREAS, this Council wishes to clarify 161.01(f) so as to extend the effectiveness of the present schedule of maximum payable sick leave hours to a period of time beyond the calendar year 1995. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio that: SECTION 1: That section 161.01(f) of the Administrative Code of the City of North Olmsted, which presently reads as follows: ( fl p,ayment of Accumulated Sick Leave Credit. An employee shall be paid for unused, accumulated sick leave at the time of disability, retirement or death. Payment shall be based upon the basic hourly rate of pay at the time of disability, retirement or death plus Iongevity and the amount shall be one half of the unused sick leave with a maximum payment of 700 hours in 1993 and 800 hours in 1994 and 900 hours in 1995. In the case of death, such sick leave credit payment shall be made to the spouse or the estate of the employee.
