<br />BY: Mayor Boyle <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 95-126 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1996. <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to appropriate certain funds for police cars to be purchased during <br />the year ending December 31, 1996. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA, AND THE STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North <br />Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1996, that the following sums be and they are hereby set <br />aside and appropriated as follows: <br />HOTEL MOTEL TAX FUND <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Equipment <br />100,000 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of this <br />Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Directar of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City <br />Treasury for payments from any of the afaregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefore, approved same, or an Ordinance ar Resolution of Council to make the expenditure; <br />provided that no warrants shall be employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. <br />Provided further, that the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of a two- <br />thirds vote of Council for items of expense other than those covered by specific appropriations herein <br />made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by <br />Article N, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SED: <br />/?j S ' ATTESTED: <br />BARBARA SEMAN, C ERK OF COUNCIL <br />.APPROVED: C?" 7- y.)-- <br />?
