<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 -115 <br />BY: Councilman Duane Limpert <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE EHLE <br />DITCH AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving the <br />drainage in the Ehle Ditch, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise and accept bids for the improvement of the drainage in the Ehle Ditch according <br />to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Boara of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />i
