? <br />r <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 95-106 <br />By: Mayor Edward Boyle <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATION OF <br />THE BUILDING DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />PUBLIC SAFETY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the present organiza.tion within the building division of the Department of <br />Public Safety is in need of restructuring so as to ensure organized and efficient operations; and <br />WHEREAS, the present organization within the building division contains the position <br />of chief inspector; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Administration and of Council to eliminate the position <br />of Chief Inspector and to create the new position of Assistant Building Commissioner thereby <br />allowing for the appropriate delegation of duties; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Organizational Chart for the Building Division of the City of <br />North Olmsted shall be as follows: <br />A. The Organizational Chart for the Building Division and the personnel set forth in the <br />Organizational Chart sha11 consist of the Building Commissioner, who sha11 be in charge of the <br />entire building Division. <br />B. The Building Commissioner shall also be in chazge of the Inspection Personnel, <br />which shall consist of: one (1) Assistant Building Commissioner, four (4) full-time Building <br />Inspectors, one (1) Electrical Inspector, one (1) Plumbing Inspector and one (1) Property <br />Maintenance Inspector. <br />C. The Building Commissioner shall also be in charge of the General Clerical stafr <br />consisting of one (1) Secretary I to the Commissioner and two (2) clerical workers designated <br />by ordinance as Secretary II's. <br />SECTION 2: That all Ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions that <br />are in conflict herewith are hereby repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. <br />
