<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95- 96 <br />By: Mayor Edward Boyle and Council <br />A RESOLUTION URGING THE OHIO LEGISLATURE <br />TO ADOPT HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTIDN <br />(HJR) 12 RENEWING ISSUE 2, THE STATE OF OHIO <br />INFRASTRUCTURE BOND ISSUE. <br />WHEREAS, The Council has determined that Issue 2 funds successfully assisted local <br />governments in revitalizing communities by financing a large part of much needed infrastructure, <br />without which, depreciation, obsolescence and deterioration would have occuned leading to <br />blight; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: 1'he City of North Olmsted urges passage of HJR 12 that would place the <br />renewal of issue 2, the state's infrastructure bond issue, on the statewide ballot in November of <br />1995. <br />SECTION 2: Duplicate copies of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Governor, <br />members of the Ohio Legislature from Cuyahoga County and the County Commissioners by the <br />Clerk of Council. <br />SECTION 3: T'hat the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this resolution have been taken at open meeting of this Council and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took <br />place in meetings open to the public and in compliance with all statutory requirements including <br />the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4: T'his Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest <br />period allowed by law as specified in the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />
