.4 CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 95-61 BY: Councilman McKay AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALT.ATION OF NO PARSING SIGNS ON THE CUL- DE-SAC WHERE THE FORMER STATE ROUTE 252 ENDS WHICH IS NOW KNOWN AS COLUMBIA ROAD, AS AMENDED. WHEREA.S, there currenfly exists a parking congestion problem in the cul-de-sac area of Columbia Road south of Butternut Ridge Road; and WHEREAS, parking on said cul-de-sac impedes the safe flow of traffic; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to promote the safe movement of traffic on the cul-de-sac of Columbia Road by installing "No Parking Between the Hours of 7:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M." signs on said cul-de-sac; and WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code pruvides for the maintenance of the Traffic Control File, which said file can be amended only by ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the insWlation of "No Parldng Between the Hours of 7:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M." signs on the cul-de- sac of Columbia Road located in the azea south of Butternut Ridge Road thereby prohibiting parking on the cul-de-sac of Columbia Road, as aforesaid. SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause said signs to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance.
