. <br />. ?, <br />. ,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 95-38 <br />BY: Mayor Boyle <br />AN ORDINANCE LIlVIITING PART-TIlVIE EMPLOYMENT <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, this Council wishes to adopt a policy prohibiting part-time employees from <br />having more than one part-time position with the City of North Olmsted at any one time with the <br />exception of Recreation, Springvale Country Club and Police Department employees. <br />NOW, THIItEFORE, BE IT ORDAINID BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OffiO: <br />SECTION 1: That there is hereby established a policy that no one individual may be <br />employed, on a part-rime basis, in more than one job at one time within the City, with the <br />exception of part-time employees of the Recreation Department and with the further exception of <br />part-time employees working for the Police Department and Springvale Country Club, <br />respectively. Nothing contained herein however, shall prohibit a full-time employee from <br />working part-time for the City of North Olmsted at the same time. <br />SEC7ION2: That Ordinance No. 91-185 as previously adoptsd be and the same is hereby <br />repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety of the <br />citizens of North Olmsted and provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />
