CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 -15 <br />BY: Councilman George Nashar <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE IlViPROVEMENT OF BRETTON RIDGE PHASE 2 <br />AS DETAILED IN 1'HE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving the pavement <br />and sewers on Phase 2 of the Bretton Ridge Subdivision, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an Agreement to <br />construct said improvement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SF.(`TION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for the improvement of Bretton Ridge Phase 2 according to specifications <br />now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SF.C'TION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declazed to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and further, <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall ? e ffect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />? <br />PASSED?- <br />#tST:,. <br />A <br /><,? <br />tBarbara L.
