w - <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 95 -10 <br />BY: Mayor d Boyle <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />WESTERN RESERVE ENGINEERING & SURVEYING COMPANY INC., TO <br />PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION SERVICES FOR VARIOUS <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the engineering firm of <br />Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company Inc., be hired to accomplish the <br />aforesaid services due to their expertise in this field; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendatian of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express <br />its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said firm for and on behalf of the <br />City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />an Agreement with Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company Inc., to provide <br />construction observation services for variaus capital improvement projects. A copy of <br />said Agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with the engineering <br />services for various capital improvement projects, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
