CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-06 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN LIND <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TBE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS WITH AN OUTSIDE CONTRACTOR FOR TBE <br />PURPOSE OF PROVIDING, ON A CONTRACT BASIS, LEAF PICK-UP <br />SERVICE THROUGHOUT TBE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TBE COUNCIL OF TBE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for contract leaf pick-up service throughout the city, all of which shall be <br />in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the city's leaf pick-up <br />program for 1995, and fiurther provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED; <br />A?TEST: , <br />? ; n-a?._ o•-e,??v1.?-._. <br />BARBARA L.
