ARTICLE VIII <br />HOLIDAYS <br />8.1 All full-time bargaining unit members sha11 be entitled to certain holidays during <br />the year and shall not be required to work on these holidays, unless scheduled to work by <br />the Chief of Police. In the event the bargaining unit member either works or was not <br />scheduled to work for reasons other than holiday leave on one of the following holidays, <br />then the bargaining unit member sha11 receive another day off from work for reasons <br />other than holiday leave. The scheduled holidays are as follows: <br />NEW YEAR'S DAY <br />PRESIDENT' S DAY <br />EASTER SUNDAY <br />MEMORIAL DAY <br />JULY FOURTH <br />LABOR DAY <br />THANKSGIVING DAY <br />CHRISTMAS DAX <br />VETERAN'S DAY' <br />EMPLOYEE'S BIRTHDAY <br />EMPLOYEE'S PERSONAL DAY <br />GOOD FRIDAY <br />ARTICLE IX <br />VACATIONS <br />9.1 All full-time employees of the bargaining unit shall be entitled to a vacation with <br />pay, in accordance with the following scheduled: <br />Length of Service Weeks To Be Taken <br /> <br />After one (1) year Two (2) Second (2nd) <br />After two (2) years Two (2) Third (3rd) <br />After three (3) years Two (2) Fourth (4th) <br />After four (4) years Two (2) Fifth (Sth) <br />After five (5) years Three (3) Sixth (6th) <br />After seven (7) years Three (3) Eighth (8th) <br />9
