CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 95- 1 BY: Mayor Edward Boyle AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY CHANGING THE HEREINAFlER DESCRIBED PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY FROM GENERAL RETAIL BUSINESS AND SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE B DISTRICT TO SENIOR RESIDENCE DISTRICT. WHEREAS, it appears that the Zoning Code that applies to the below described real property is improper under the conditions presently existing and inadequate for the development and use of this land; and WHEREAS, this council has determined that the promotion of zoning for Senior Citizens residences of various ldnds is not only a public purpose but is in the best interest of a11 of the citizens of our City; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on , / 0 , 1995, by formal motion, recommenderl that an amendment to the Zone M be ini ated, rezoning the following parcels of land: Permanent Parcel Nos. 233-8-15, 233-8-16 and 233-9-1, all more fully described on Exhibits A, B, and C attached hereto. As with respect to P.P. Nos. 233-8-15 and 233-8-16, from a combined zoning of General Retail Business and Single Family Residence B to Senior Residence District; and with respect to P.P. No. 233-9-1, from General Retail Business District to Senior Residence District; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to rezone said parcels of land hereinbefore described and as more fully set out on Exhibits A, B and C attached hereto from General Retail Business District and Single Family Residence B District to Senior Residence District, all of which is consistent with the Planning Commission recommendations; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SEC770N 1: That, after submission of this Ordinance to the Planning Commission of this City for its opinion and recommendation, and after a Public Hearing hereon, notice of which has been given pursuant to Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter of the City, entitled, "The Council- Enactment of Zoning Ordinance and Regulations, Notice", and after its passage pursuant to the Charter of this City, and its approval by the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted, the Zone Map of North Olmsted is hereby amehded and as amended be and the same is hereby revised by changing the zoning of the following described parcels of land as follows:
