CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RE~fLUTION No . 72^ `~p <br />By : %~%Y~ Ui~' <br />..U <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE REPAVING <br />OF 47ALTER ROAD AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Service Director has recommended to the <br />Finance Committee and to Council that Walter Road in the <br />City of North Olmsted be repaved in kind, and <br />WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that it would be to <br />the best interest of the City of North Olmsted that said <br />Walter Road be repaved, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and <br />he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for repaving <br />Walter Road, according with plans and specifications now <br />on file in his office and that upon approval by the Board <br />of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />Section 2. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation <br />of the public peace, health and safety of said City and for <br />the further reason that the immediate construction of said <br />i:mpp©vement is necessary to eliminate existing hazards to <br />pedestrian and vehicular traffic; WHEREFORE, this ordinance <br />shall be in full force and effect from and immediately after <br />its passage and approval. <br />PASSED : ~-~/~ 7-Z-. <br />ATTEST: <br />1 <br />Nora T.
