,~,.,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION No. 72- /~~ <br />i~~. ~ , <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2t0QQ TONS OF <br />CINDERS AND 3,500 TONS OF SALT, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY . <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he <br />is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of cinders <br />and 3,500 tons of salt for use on the streets, all in accordance <br />with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval <br />by the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into <br />a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for <br />the said cinders and salt. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency resolution necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public health a#td safety; such necessity exists by reason of the fact <br />that snow and sleet storms may soon create hazardous conditions, in <br />consequence whereof great public inconvenience would be suffered. <br />WHEREFORE this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: 9 /J~7.~, <br />ATTEST: <br />~a/te~c...GG.. <br />~i ~'-•~-tt1 i <br />Nora T.
